Your Google connection in Windy Vault
How you will see it, disconnect it and delete it, and what happens to your data.
Coming soon. Not available yet. Today no Windy product connects to your Google account. This page describes how it will work when the feature opens. What Windy will ask Google for is on Google account access for Windy Vault.
See what is connected
Your Windy profile page will have a card named Windy Vault. It will list each service you have connected, with the Google account it belongs to.
Disconnect Google
- 1Open your Windy profile page and find the Windy Vault card.
- 2Next to Google, press Disconnect.
- 3Windy will ask Google to cancel the access, and will erase its own stored copy of your Google access. From then on Windy cannot send email or change calendar events for you.
If Google cannot be reached at that moment, Windy will still erase its own copy, and the page will tell you to also remove Windy Vault at Google (below).
Remove Windy Vault at Google
You will also be able to remove it from Google’s side at any time. Open your Google Account permissions and look for Windy Vault in the list of apps and services that have access to your account, then remove its access.
What Windy Vault will store, and what it will not
If you delete your whole Windy account
The keys that open your Windy Vault will be destroyed, so nothing in it can ever be read again, and any remaining activity rows will no longer be linkable to you. How to delete your account is on Delete your account.
How Windy handles your data is set out in our Privacy Policy. Questions? Write to [email protected] or see Support.
